Terms for using Skimless

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Skimless. By using Skimless, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Skimless helps users collect sources and generate short briefs, including generated brief text and audio. Features may change over time, and we may add, remove, or modify functionality.

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and use Skimless only in compliance with applicable laws.

You keep ownership of the content and source information you add to Skimless. You grant us the rights needed to process that content, generate briefs, provide the service, and improve and maintain Skimless.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to submit, connect, or process any content through Skimless.

You may not misuse Skimless, interfere with the service, attempt to access systems or data without permission, violate others' rights, submit unlawful content, or use the service to build or distribute harmful software or spam.

Briefs and other outputs may be generated using AI and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You should review outputs before relying on them for important decisions.

Paid plans, if offered, are billed through our payment provider. Prices, features, and billing periods will be shown before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Skimless may integrate with third-party services such as Google, email providers, AI providers, analytics, hosting, and payment processors. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.

Skimless is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skimless and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

You may stop using Skimless at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service, or if we discontinue the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of Skimless after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
